The Opportunity

The investment objective of the 365 Real Estate Development Fund Ltd. is to achieve capital growth through the investment in real estate globally; with Canadian Segregated Funds as the Fund’s hedge, the Fund takes advantage of the strength of its hedge to use leverage through collateralization.

Real estate has always been a fail-safe guaranteed investment, and despite fluctuations in the market, we have witnessed major success. One of these opportunities resides in the US post-mortgage crisis which is finally showing signs across the US of coming back from an 8% to 35% growth over various states. Still, the huge distressed property inventory and the consumers’ inability to obtain credit allows for tremendous opportunities. Many other opportunities also exist in the rest of North America, Europe and various emerging markets around the world.

365 Real Estate Development Fund has taken traditional investment vehicles and combined them into a unique strategy. By being able to collateralize at up to 90% of the value of the hedge, the Fund is able to obtain a rate of return of potentially greater than 1.9 times (approximately) of what the hedge would achieve on its own. This unique strategy allows the Fund to accentuate its potential rates of return considerably.
